The Outreach committee shares God's love to all in the following ways:

  1. Staying in touch with people in the community and our congregation by sending cards, visiting, and communication via telephone and email

  2. Visiting the sick in the hospital and at home and letting them know we care about them by leaving them something tangible like flowers or a fruit basket.
  3. Implementing ideas approved by the session for increasing our church membership at Brett-Reed as well as public relations.
  4. Providing support to our community and the world community as it arises.
  5. Reaching  out to new people in our community and invite them to Brett-Reed.
  6. We collect monthly food donations and provide financial support for the Good Neighbor center in West Point and for efforts of the West Point Minister's Association.

Outreach:

At Brett-Reed, we define Outreach as a church's ability to make a difference in the lives of others through attention to their physical and spiritual needs. Those involved in Outreach will always show concern and compassion to non-believers as well as believers as they exemplify God's love to all.
